    Monkeys have mutilated themselves under significant doses of cocaine and PCP in Carroll's laboratories. In multiple studies, entire groups of rats have chewed off all digits of their front paws while having drugs forced upon them during food deprivation. This shameful record should easily wipe out her eligibility for being granted responsibility for living animals; instead, her work is praised and allowed to continue.
